There are three main types of guitar: classical, acoustic and electric. Within these groups are subsets and certain hybrids use. The use depends on the type of music produced. Here are common types.
The First is Classical, or Spanish guitar, is the eldest son of the guitar family. This consists of a hollow body and neck with no truss rod. Nylon is used primarily in classical guitar today because they provide a softer voice.
The Second is Acoustic guitar and classical guitar are very similar. Both are sometimes referred to as an acoustic guitar. They both produce sound without the need for amplifiers. Most of the big acoustic guitar with a thick voice.
Then, Electric guitars is emerged in the early 1930s mainly because guitarist with great bands that needed to be heard in the brass. The first electric built as an electric-acoustic with a microphone instead of the earpiece or in the inside.

Pre-owned 1988 fender usa eric clapton stratocaster guitar, serial # 801812. this instrument features an alder body with pewter finish, maple neck, gold lace sensor pickups with active midrange boost, single-ply pickguard, and of course, legendary fender quality and tone! this guitar appears to be in excellent condition, however, at certain angles there are fine lines visible in the finish across the front and back of the guitar. this effect can best be seen in photos #6 and #10 in the reflection of the florescent lights. guitar plays great, with a comfortable neck and nice action. includes original tweed hardshell case.
